FraudMax · LEGAL
Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 21 August 2026 Last updated: 21 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FraudMax, including the FraudMax iOS application, related services and features, and the website at https://fraudmax.app.
FraudMax is operated by Arthur K. Cassidy, based in the United Kingdom ("FraudMax", "we", "us" or "our").
Email: Contact@FraudMax.app Website: https://fraudmax.app
Please read these Terms carefully before using FraudMax.
By downloading, accessing or using FraudMax, or purchasing a subscription through the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use FraudMax.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
1. About FraudMax
FraudMax is an image-enhancement application.
The app allows users to select or capture portrait photographs and request subtle AI-powered facial and photographic enhancements.
Depending on the features available at the time, enhancements may include changes to visual features, photographic quality or other aspects of an image selected by the user.
FraudMax uses automated and AI-based systems to create these results. AI-generated or AI-edited results are not guaranteed to be accurate, identical to the requested result or satisfactory to every user.
2. Eligibility to Use FraudMax
You must be at least 16 years old to use FraudMax.
If local law requires a higher minimum age or parental authorisation for a particular activity, that requirement also applies.
If you are below the age at which you can legally enter into these Terms independently in your country, your parent or legal guardian may need to review and agree to these Terms on your behalf where required by law.
You must not use FraudMax if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
3. Your FraudMax Account
FraudMax may use anonymous account authentication rather than requiring you to create a traditional account with a username and password.
A unique identifier may be associated with your use of FraudMax. This identifier may also be shown as your Developer Key.
Your Developer Key may be used for purposes such as:
- identifying your FraudMax account;
- managing your token balance;
- determining free-image eligibility;
- providing customer support;
- applying promotional tokens; or
- resolving account-related issues.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Developer Key.
You should not intentionally allow another person to use your account in a way that violates these Terms.
4. One Free Enhancement
FraudMax provides users with one free image enhancement.
The free enhancement does not require an active paid subscription or promotional tokens.
You must not attempt to obtain additional free enhancements by manipulating the service, exploiting technical errors or deliberately circumventing FraudMax's free-enhancement eligibility system.
FraudMax may take reasonable steps to prevent abuse of free offers.
Availability of the free enhancement remains subject to technical availability, these Terms and applicable law.
5. Tokens
FraudMax uses tokens as in-app credits for image enhancements.
Unless otherwise clearly stated in the app, a successful enhancement normally costs 12 tokens.
Tokens:
- are digital credits usable within FraudMax;
- are not money or stored monetary value;
- have no cash value;
- cannot be withdrawn for cash;
- cannot be redeemed outside FraudMax; and
- are not transferable between users unless FraudMax expressly provides a transfer feature or otherwise permits a transfer.
Tokens do not represent ownership of money held by FraudMax.
Token Charges
A successful image enhancement normally requires 12 tokens.
An enhancement is treated as successful for token purposes when FraudMax receives a generated image from the image-processing service and returns it to the app. If processing fails before an image is returned, the 12 reserved tokens are automatically restored to the user's balance.
A result being technically successful does not necessarily mean that every aspect of the generated image will match your expectations. AI output is inherently variable.
If FraudMax changes the number of tokens required for future enhancements, the applicable token cost should be displayed in the app before it affects future usage where reasonably appropriate.
Changes to token costs will not retrospectively change tokens already consumed.
6. Promotional and Affiliate Tokens
FraudMax may occasionally provide promotional, complimentary, affiliate or other bonus tokens.
Promotional tokens may be added to an account using the user's Developer Key.
Unless FraudMax expressly states otherwise:
- promotional tokens have no cash value;
- they cannot be exchanged for money;
- they cannot be sold;
- they cannot be withdrawn; and
- receiving promotional tokens does not guarantee that additional promotional tokens will be provided in the future.
FraudMax may set reasonable conditions on a specific promotion, provided those conditions are made available as part of that promotion.
FraudMax may remove promotional tokens obtained through fraud, abuse, manipulation or an obvious technical or administrative error.
7. FraudMax Premium
FraudMax offers a weekly subscription currently referred to as FraudMax Premium.
An active FraudMax Premium subscription provides 330 tokens per weekly subscription period.
Because a successful enhancement normally costs 12 tokens:
330 tokens ÷ 12 tokens = 27 complete enhancements, with 6 tokens remaining.
Accordingly, 330 tokens are sufficient for up to 27 complete 12-token enhancements, assuming each enhancement is charged at the normal 12-token rate.
The actual number of enhancements available may differ if:
- the token cost of a particular feature differs;
- promotional or free enhancements apply;
- tokens have previously been used;
- an enhancement fails and the applicable token treatment differs; or
- FraudMax clearly introduces a different token cost for a feature.
Token Rollover
Unused subscription tokens carry forward into later weekly subscription periods while the FraudMax account remains available. Each successful weekly renewal adds a further 330 tokens to the user's existing balance; unused tokens are not reset merely because a new weekly period begins.
This behaviour should be described consistently in the app and subscription interface.
8. Subscription Price and Introductory Offers
FraudMax Premium is billed through Apple's App Store.
The price charged to you is the price displayed by Apple at the time you confirm the purchase.
If an introductory price, introductory period, promotional offer or other subscription offer is available, the applicable price and conditions are those presented through Apple's purchase interface when you subscribe.
Prices may vary by:
- country or region;
- currency;
- applicable taxes;
- Apple's pricing system;
- eligibility for introductory or promotional offers; or
- changes to the subscription price.
FraudMax will not rely on an outdated price stated in these Terms where Apple's purchase interface displays a different current price.
You should review the price, billing period and any introductory terms displayed by Apple before confirming a purchase.
9. Weekly Automatic Renewal
FraudMax Premium is a weekly auto-renewing subscription.
Unless you cancel it, the subscription will automatically renew for another weekly subscription period in accordance with Apple's App Store subscription system.
Apple handles the billing and renewal process.
Your subscription status is determined using information provided through Apple's App Store systems and FraudMax's subscription-management provider.
10. Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel FraudMax Premium through the subscription-management settings associated with your Apple Account.
Deleting the FraudMax app from your device does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Similarly, deleting stored FraudMax images or requesting deletion of FraudMax account information does not necessarily cancel an App Store subscription.
You should separately cancel the subscription through Apple if you no longer want it to renew.
Cancellation normally prevents future renewal but does not automatically reverse a payment that has already been processed. Continued access following cancellation depends on the subscription entitlement supplied by Apple for the remainder of the relevant paid period.
Apple's applicable subscription rules and purchase interface govern the billing relationship processed through the App Store.
11. Refunds
Payments made through the FraudMax iOS application are processed by Apple.
Refund requests for App Store transactions should therefore normally be submitted through Apple's applicable refund process.
Whether a refund request is approved is governed by:
- Apple's applicable refund policies;
- the circumstances of the transaction; and
- any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country.
FraudMax does not guarantee that Apple will approve every refund request.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent you from exercising any statutory refund, cancellation or consumer rights available under applicable law.
Unless FraudMax separately makes an express and legally valid refund commitment, these Terms do not create an additional unconditional right to a refund beyond the rights available through Apple and applicable law.
Where Apple reverses, refunds or revokes a subscription transaction, FraudMax may adjust the corresponding subscription entitlement or tokens to reflect the transaction status reported by Apple.
12. Apple Is Responsible for App Store Billing
Apple processes App Store subscription payments, billing methods, transaction handling, subscription cancellation and refund requests.
FraudMax does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card details for App Store purchases.
Issues relating specifically to:
- your Apple payment method;
- App Store billing;
- an Apple receipt;
- cancelling an Apple subscription; or
- requesting an App Store refund
may need to be handled through Apple.
FraudMax remains responsible for the FraudMax application and service itself as required by applicable law.
13. Photographs You Upload
You retain ownership of your original photographs.
FraudMax does not claim ownership of:
- your face;
- your likeness;
- your original photographs; or
- other user-owned material merely because you upload it to FraudMax.
However, you must have the rights and permissions necessary to upload and edit every photograph you submit.
By uploading a photograph, you confirm that:
- you own the photograph or have appropriate permission to use it;
- you have the right to request the proposed edit;
- your use of the photograph through FraudMax does not unlawfully infringe another person's privacy, copyright, publicity, image or other rights; and
- your use complies with these Terms and applicable law.
14. Photographs of Other People
FraudMax may allow you to upload photographs containing people other than yourself.
You must have appropriate permission or another lawful basis to upload and edit those photographs.
You must consider the privacy and rights of the person depicted before uploading their image.
You may not use FraudMax to edit another person's appearance in circumstances that are unlawful, abusive, deceptive or materially harmful.
In particular, you must not use FraudMax to create content intended to falsely represent that another person actually did, said, endorsed or participated in something when they did not.
15. Licence You Give FraudMax to Process Your Content
To provide the service, FraudMax needs limited permission to handle photographs and generated images.
When you upload content to FraudMax, you grant FraudMax a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, process, modify and store that content only as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the enhancement you requested;
- transmit information to service providers involved in producing the enhancement;
- generate the resulting image;
- deliver the result to you;
- provide image-history or storage features you choose to use;
- operate and secure the service;
- troubleshoot technical problems;
- comply with applicable law; and
- enforce these Terms.
This licence does not transfer ownership of your photographs to FraudMax.
FraudMax may allow its infrastructure and AI-processing service providers to process your content where necessary to provide the service.
This licence continues only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, subject to FraudMax's Privacy Policy, applicable retention periods, backup processes and legal obligations.
16. Generated Results
FraudMax does not claim ownership of your generated results merely because they were created using FraudMax.
To the extent that intellectual-property rights in a generated result can legally belong to you, FraudMax does not claim those rights from you, subject to the limited service licence described above.
Laws concerning copyright and ownership of AI-generated material can vary between jurisdictions and may change over time.
FraudMax therefore does not guarantee that a particular generated result is eligible for copyright protection or that you will have exclusive intellectual-property rights in every generated result.
You remain responsible for how you use or publish generated results.
17. FraudMax Intellectual Property
FraudMax and its associated materials contain intellectual property belonging to FraudMax or its licensors.
This may include:
- the FraudMax name;
- logos;
- branding;
- application design;
- software;
- source code and object code;
- user-interface elements;
- graphics;
- text;
- databases;
- systems; and
- other proprietary application materials.
Except for the limited right to use the app under these Terms, you are not granted ownership of FraudMax's intellectual property.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license or exploit FraudMax's proprietary software or branding except where FraudMax expressly permits it or applicable law gives you the right to do so.
18. Licence to Use the iOS Application
Subject to these Terms, FraudMax grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the FraudMax application on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the applicable Apple Media Services Terms and App Store usage rules.
This licence is for your use of the application only and does not transfer ownership of the FraudMax software to you.
Use through Family Sharing or other Apple-supported functionality may be permitted where Apple's applicable usage rules allow it.
19. Acceptable Use
You may use FraudMax only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not use FraudMax to:
- violate applicable law;
- infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, image, trademark or other rights;
- upload a photograph you do not have appropriate permission to use;
- create or distribute unlawful material;
- create sexual or intimate content involving another person without their valid consent;
- create or distribute child sexual abuse material or sexualised content involving minors;
- harass, threaten, stalk or abuse another person;
- impersonate another person for fraudulent or materially deceptive purposes;
- create content intended to facilitate fraud or scams;
- create false evidence or documentation;
- misrepresent another person's identity;
- deceive another person in a materially harmful manner;
- blackmail or extort another person;
- defame another person unlawfully;
- circumvent token, subscription or free-enhancement systems;
- exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for unauthorised benefit;
- interfere with FraudMax's servers, APIs or infrastructure;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except to the extent applicable law expressly permits;
- use automated systems to overload, scrape or abuse the service;
- resell FraudMax access without permission; or
- assist another person in doing any of the above.
20. Intimate and Sexual Content
You must not upload or create intimate or sexualised content involving a person without that person's valid consent.
You must never use FraudMax to create, edit or distribute:
- child sexual abuse material;
- sexual content involving a person under the applicable age of consent;
- non-consensual intimate imagery;
- sexual deepfakes created without appropriate consent; or
- material intended for sexual exploitation, coercion or blackmail.
FraudMax may immediately restrict or terminate access where it reasonably believes the service is being used for such purposes.
Where required by applicable law, FraudMax may preserve or report relevant information to appropriate authorities.
21. Fraud, Deception and Impersonation
The name "FraudMax" does not give permission to engage in fraud.
FraudMax is an image-enhancement application and must not be used to commit, facilitate or conceal unlawful fraud or deceptive impersonation.
You must not use FraudMax output:
- to falsely verify an identity;
- to bypass identity-verification systems;
- to obtain money, property, services or access through deception;
- to create false official documentation;
- to impersonate another person in a materially harmful way; or
- to mislead another person about an important fact where doing so may cause financial, legal, reputational or other material harm.
22. AI Limitations
FraudMax uses artificial intelligence and automated image-processing technology.
AI systems are probabilistic and may produce unpredictable results.
Results may:
- contain visual errors;
- alter features that you did not request;
- fail to alter a requested feature;
- introduce artificial-looking details;
- alter colours, backgrounds, textures or lighting;
- contain distortions;
- produce inconsistent results from similar inputs; or
- otherwise differ from your expectations.
FraudMax does not guarantee that:
- every enhancement will look realistic;
- every request will be completed;
- every result will match your prompt or selected enhancement;
- every result will preserve every detail of the original photograph; or
- you will personally consider every generated result an improvement.
Nothing in this section removes rights you may have where FraudMax fails to provide the service to the standard required by applicable consumer law.
23. No Medical or Professional Advice
FraudMax is an image-editing and entertainment service.
It is not a medical service.
FraudMax does not provide:
- medical advice;
- dermatological advice;
- cosmetic-surgery advice;
- dental or orthodontic advice;
- psychological or mental-health advice;
- diagnoses;
- treatment recommendations; or
- professional assessments of your physical appearance.
An AI-generated image showing a changed face, skin condition, jawline, body feature or other characteristic is a visual edit. It does not indicate what a medical treatment or cosmetic procedure would actually achieve.
You should not make medical, surgical or mental-health decisions based on FraudMax-generated images.
24. Service Availability
FraudMax aims to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- software updates;
- third-party provider outages;
- server problems;
- internet connectivity;
- Apple services;
- AI-processing provider availability;
- unusually high demand;
- security incidents;
- technical failures; or
- circumstances outside FraudMax's reasonable control.
FraudMax may modify, repair, update or temporarily suspend parts of the service where reasonably necessary.
Where applicable consumer law requires FraudMax to provide a remedy for failure to provide a paid service properly, these Terms do not remove that right.
25. Changes to Features
FraudMax may improve, update, replace or discontinue features over time.
This may include changes to:
- enhancement options;
- interface design;
- AI models;
- image-processing systems;
- token usage;
- image-history features;
- infrastructure; or
- other functionality.
FraudMax will not use this section to remove statutory consumer rights or make unfair retrospective changes to a purchase already made.
Where a change materially affects an ongoing paid subscription and applicable law requires notice, FraudMax will provide the notice required by law or Apple's subscription system.
26. Third-Party Services
FraudMax depends on third-party services, which may include Apple, Google, Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Gemini, RevenueCat and other infrastructure providers.
Your use of certain parts of FraudMax may therefore also be subject to applicable third-party terms.
You agree to comply with applicable third-party terms when using FraudMax.
FraudMax is not responsible for services operated independently by third parties to the extent permitted by applicable law, but this does not remove FraudMax's responsibilities for its own contractual obligations or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
27. Privacy
FraudMax's collection and use of personal information is described separately in the FraudMax Privacy Policy, available at:
The Privacy Policy explains matters including:
- photograph processing;
- image storage;
- anonymous Firebase identifiers;
- token and account information;
- subscriptions;
- service providers;
- data retention;
- data deletion; and
- privacy rights.
By using FraudMax, you acknowledge that you have been given access to the Privacy Policy.
28. Suspension and Termination
FraudMax may suspend, restrict or terminate access to the service where reasonably necessary, including where FraudMax reasonably believes that:
- you materially violated these Terms;
- your use creates a security risk;
- you are attempting to commit fraud;
- you are exploiting the token or subscription system;
- your activity infringes another person's rights;
- your content is unlawful;
- your use could cause serious harm to another person;
- FraudMax is required to do so by law; or
- continued access would materially threaten the operation of the service.
Where appropriate and reasonably possible, FraudMax may provide notice or an opportunity to correct a less serious violation before termination.
Immediate action may be taken where necessary to address serious abuse, illegal content, security threats or significant risk to others.
Termination does not remove rights or liabilities that arose before termination.
29. Effect of Termination on Subscriptions
Suspension or deletion of a FraudMax account does not necessarily automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
If you no longer want a FraudMax Premium subscription to renew, you should cancel it separately through your Apple Account subscription settings.
Any refund or billing consequences remain subject to Apple's applicable policies and your legal rights.
FraudMax will not intentionally use account termination to avoid obligations imposed by applicable consumer law.
30. Disclaimer of Warranties
FraudMax is provided subject to the rights and guarantees that apply under applicable law.
To the extent legally permitted, FraudMax does not make additional promises that:
- the service will always be available;
- the service will always be error-free;
- AI-generated images will always be accurate;
- results will always meet your subjective expectations;
- every requested enhancement will be technically possible; or
- generated images will be suitable for a particular purpose that FraudMax has not expressly agreed to provide.
Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory guarantees or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
31. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- deliberate unlawful conduct; or
- any other liability or consumer remedy that applicable law does not permit FraudMax to exclude or limit.
Subject to those protections, FraudMax will not be responsible for losses caused solely by:
- your unlawful use of FraudMax;
- your use of an image without appropriate rights or permission;
- your decision to rely on an AI-generated image as medical or professional advice despite these Terms;
- unauthorised modifications you make to the app;
- circumstances outside FraudMax's reasonable control; or
- your breach of these Terms,
to the extent permitted by applicable law.
FraudMax does not seek through these Terms to exclude responsibility where FraudMax itself is legally at fault or where applicable consumer law gives you a remedy.
32. Your Responsibility for Claims Caused by Misuse
You are responsible for your own unlawful use of FraudMax.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, if you use FraudMax in material violation of these Terms and that violation directly causes a third-party claim against FraudMax—for example because you knowingly uploaded copyrighted material without permission or used an image unlawfully—you may be responsible for reasonable losses or costs directly resulting from that violation.
This provision does not require a consumer to compensate FraudMax for losses caused by FraudMax's own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct, and it does not remove any mandatory consumer protection.
33. Reporting Abuse or Intellectual-Property Concerns
If you believe FraudMax is being used to infringe your rights, or that content associated with the service violates these Terms, you may contact:
Please provide enough information for FraudMax to understand and assess the complaint.
For copyright or other intellectual-property complaints, this may include:
- identification of the relevant work;
- identification of the material complained about;
- an explanation of your rights;
- your contact information; and
- any other information reasonably necessary to review the complaint.
FraudMax may remove or restrict access to content where appropriate.
34. Apple App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and Arthur K. Cassidy as the operator of FraudMax, and not between you and Apple.
FraudMax, not Apple, is responsible for the FraudMax application and its content, subject to applicable law.
Maintenance and Support
FraudMax is responsible for providing any maintenance or support required for the FraudMax application under these Terms or applicable law.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for FraudMax.
App Warranties
To the extent that any legally applicable warranty cannot validly be disclaimed, FraudMax is responsible for that warranty.
Where Apple's applicable terms provide a remedy for failure of an App Store application to conform to an applicable warranty, you may have rights directly through Apple under those terms.
Apple has no other warranty obligation relating to FraudMax except to the extent required by Apple's applicable terms or applicable law.
Product Claims
FraudMax, rather than Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to FraudMax or your possession or use of the application, including claims concerning:
- product liability;
- legal or regulatory compliance;
- consumer protection; and
- privacy,
to the extent FraudMax is legally responsible for such claims.
Intellectual-Property Claims
If a third party claims that the FraudMax application itself infringes that party's intellectual-property rights, FraudMax, rather than Apple, is responsible for addressing that claim to the extent required by applicable law and Apple's applicable developer terms.
Legal Compliance
You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a relevant United States government embargo or designated by the United States government as supporting terrorism, and that you are not listed on an applicable United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-Party Terms
You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using FraudMax, including applicable Apple Media Services Terms.
Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary
You and FraudMax acknowledge that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to the licensed iOS application.
When you accept these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce the applicable App Store provisions of these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
35. Changes to These Terms
FraudMax may update these Terms from time to time, including to reflect:
- new or changed features;
- changes to the subscription or token system;
- changes to third-party services;
- security requirements;
- operational changes; or
- changes in applicable law.
The Last updated date at the top of these Terms will be changed when the Terms are revised.
FraudMax will not rely on this section to make unfair retrospective changes or remove mandatory consumer rights.
Where a material change requires advance notice or your consent under applicable law, FraudMax will provide the required notice or obtain the required consent.
If you continue using FraudMax after updated Terms become effective, the updated Terms will apply to future use to the extent permitted by law.
36. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any non-contractual dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer to bring proceedings elsewhere, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
Regardless of the governing-law provision ultimately selected, consumers may retain mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of residence, where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent a consumer from bringing a claim in a court or forum where applicable law gives them a non-waivable right to do so.
Before beginning formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact FraudMax at Contact@FraudMax.app so that the issue can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved.
37. Severability
If a court or other competent authority finds that part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally possible.
Where appropriate, the affected provision should be interpreted as narrowly as necessary to make it lawful rather than invalidating unrelated parts of these Terms.
38. No Waiver
If FraudMax does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not necessarily mean FraudMax has permanently waived the right to enforce it.
Similarly, nothing in these Terms removes any right that you cannot lawfully waive.
39. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the FraudMax Privacy Policy and any specific terms clearly presented for a particular promotion or feature, form the agreement governing your use of FraudMax.
Apple's applicable App Store and Apple Media Services terms also continue to apply independently where relevant to your use of Apple's services.
If a specific promotional offer includes additional terms, those additional terms apply to that promotion.
40. Contact
